Join over students from schools across NYC as we build relationships, grow closer to God, and enjoy some relaxing time out of the city. What will we do on fall getaway? I'm so glad you asked. Boating, football, basketball, a talent show, a bonfire, s’mores, and exploring Star Lake's woods and trails are all options for you this weekend. Amazing. However, our favorite part of the weekend is hearing from wise, Godly speakers and worshiping Jesus alongside fellow students. MAIN SESSIONS During our main sessions we all gather together to worship together and hear from our main speaker Adam Penning. SPEAKER: Adam Penning: Adam is passionate about students, the city and the church. He and his family spent 5 years in NYC with Cru giving leadership to the 5 boroughs. He has set foot on 20 NYC campuses. Currently, he is Lead Pastor of an urban, multicultural college campus church in Madison, WI. Besides helping people to know and love Jesus, Adam enjoys good food. He loves BECSPK and firmly believes the halal truck at 45th and 11th is the best in the city. He can also be found outdoors, swimming, reading, working with his hands or goofing off with his kids. BREAKOUT SESSIONS: We will also have a number of fun topical break out sessions where you can "choose your own adventure and dive deeper hearing from some awesome speakers from all over the city! If you decide to take the bus: The cost for NJTansit is $10.75 each way. You will purchase a ticket on Bus 194 leaving from Port Authority Bus Terminal at:
For Sunday Return ($10.75 as stated above). You have 2 options. You can leave at 12:14pm or 2:14pm. They will be back at PA Bus Terminal approximately 1 hour later.
